Snosh – Convert Video, Audio, Images to Flash
Founded back in 2001 by Rick Ng, Softdiv Software is a company that specializes in developing top quality multimedia software applications. The software applications developed by the Malaysia-based Softdiv Software company have received numerous awards and great reviews.
One application Softdiv Software came up with is Snosh, an application that weighs in at about 18MB. On a less that spectacular internet connection, it may take a while to download the application. Installing it once the download completes is another story – the installation process will complete in no time at all.
Speaking of the installation process, Snosh should work just fine on all versions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. But what can it do, once it has been installed? The name doesn’t offer any clues, so here’s the brief explanation: Snosh can convert video, audio and image files to Flash 8 (SWF/FLV), Flash MX (SWF/FLV), Flash Vector (SWF), HTML, MP3, WAV and Windows Projector Executables. Snosh comes with batch processing functionality, meaning you can use it to convert multiple files at once.
Snosh comes with a built-in media player. Besides converting audio and video files, it can also play them. The video player provides support for a multitude of formats, including the following: MOV, MP4, M4V, 3GP, MPEG, VCD, SVCD, PAL, NTSC, WMV, AVI, DIVX, ASF and FLV. The audio player also provides support for a multitude of formats – like WAV, MP3, 3GP, WMA, MP4, MPEg, VCD, AVI, and so on. Snosh can also display still images – GIF, BMP, JPEG, TIF, and so on.
Other applications developed by Softdiv Software: Dexster, iVideoMAX, VIDEOzilla, Softdiv MP3 to WAV Converter, iDVDMAX, Softdiv Audio Converter.
